Borges Auto Sales
Used Car dealer
I went to Borges on January 31, 2013 the first time. I wanted to
replace my 97 Chevy Cavalier with a newer model. The guy was very nice. I am a
car enthusiast and I noticed that he did not know anything about cars beyond
selling. I know this car very well.
I was given the option to test driving the car. So I rode in the
car it seemed like a pretty nice car. It was a 2005 4 door Chevrolet Cavalier
base edition. It was a 2.2 liter engine with 115,000 miles. I actually
liked the car. So I told my mechanic about the car. So we rode back to the car
lot in March. He checked the car out from bumper to bumper. We found out the
motor was no good and the timing chain needed to be replaced. The asking price
was $5000.00. It was no deal. They said the car was worth that much and we did
not know what we were talking about. They had about cars they were selling
with high mileage and not so good condition.
The worst thing was they do not warrant their vehicles.
I would like to say, the sales person did not pressure me
to sign and buy.
Scale of 1 to 10.
